Assistant Management Accountant

Supporting the Financial Controller of a 60m turnover group of companies based in Normanton, this is a varied and hands on role which will offer an excellent next career step with a supportive employer that offers flexible start and finish times and a hybrid working policy. The business uses Sage 200 and some of the core duties include;

• Assist with Preparation of month-end accounts
• Prepayments, accruals, fixed assets, rebates and journals
• Balance sheet reconciliation
• Bank reconciliation
• VAT and HMRC returns
• Assistance with daily, weekly and monthly accounting reports
• Deal with general accounts enquiries
• Assisting with internal and external audits
• Supporting and liaising with both the Management Accountant and Finance Controller

The role is open to AAT, part qualified or qualified by experience accountants.
