Excellent opportunity for an Electrical Installation Engineer to join a successful engineering business, in a varied role where you'll be able to enjoy working both in their friendly workshop and internationally directly with customers.

On offer is the chance to learn a new bespoke and niche product range with extensive on-the-job training, working for a growing engineering business who are offering long-term career prospects.

Established over 45-year back, this engineering company specialise in offering cutting-edge technology solutions to the metal industry. Due to a heavier workload, they are seeking additional Installation Engineers.

While based at the Rotherham workshop, you'll be assisting with the manufacturing process, attending to mechanical/electrical assembly and testing of their bespoke products. Once the products have been sent out to customers, you'll go to the customer location to the install and commission their products.

This role is split between working at their busy workshop in Rotherham and visiting international customers to install the products. Around 70% of the role will be based in Rotherham and remaining 30% based internationally. When working internationally, they estimate it would typically be around 3-5 weeks at a time.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an Installation Engineer looking to work on interesting engineering projects and learn a new and niche engineering sector with full on-the-job training.

THE ROLE:
Installation, commissioning and testing of cutting-edge technology
Prior to installation, assisting with assembly, testing, disassembly on the shopfloor
Split between working in the workshop and working internationally at customer location
On-the-job training provided in their product range/industry

THE PERSON:
Engineering qualification preferred / have the 18th Edition
Experience working as an Installation Engineer
Multi-Skilled Mechanical/Electrical (with an Electrical bias)
Happy to travel internationally
Background designing with any engineered/manufactured product
