Sustainability Manager

Job Title: Sustainability Manager Salary: £50,000 - 65,000 Location: Hybrid, London Office The Role: CRG are working with a leading consultancy who are dedicated to empowering organisations worldwide to achieve sustainable practices and thrive in a rapidly evolving global landscape. Our client provide innovative solutions and expert guidance to help our clients integrate sustainability into their core operations, fostering resilience, growth, and positive societal impact. They are seeking a dynamic and passionate Sustainability Manager to join their team and lead the sustainability initiatives. As a Sustainability Manager, you will play a pivotal role in guiding clients toward sustainable practices, driving positive environmental and social change, and contributing to the advancement of sustainability within diverse industries. Responsibilities as a Sustainability Manager: * Lead sustainability assessments, audits, and analyses for clients across various sectors. * Develop and implement sustainability strategies, action plans, and goals tailored to client needs and objectives. * Conduct research on emerging sustainability trends, regulations, and best practices to inform client recommendations. * Collaborate with clients to integrate sustainable practices into their operations, supply chains, and corporate culture. * Provide expertise and guidance on carbon footprint reduction, energy efficiency, waste management, and resource optimization. * Facilitate stakeholder engagement and communication to build consensus and support for sustainability initiatives. * Monitor and evaluate sustainability performance metrics, providing regular reporting and recommendations for improvement. * Stay updated on relevant sustainability certifications, standards, and frameworks, such as LEED, B Corp, ISO 14001, and GRI. Qualifications: * Bachelor's or Master's degree in environmental science, sustainability, business management, or related field. * Proven experience in sustainability consulting, corporate sustainability, or related roles. Ideally as a Sustainability Manager. * Deep understanding of sustainability principles, frameworks, and best practices. * Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and develop actionable insights. * Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence diverse stakeholders. * Project management experience, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. * Certification in sustainability-related disciplines (e.g., LEED AP, CSR-P, GRI Standards Exam) is a plus. * Passion for sustainability and a commitment to driving positive change.
