Assembly Operative

JOB PURPOSE Assembly and inspection of components and sub-assemblies in accordance with the quality standards and production schedule. 1. Using technical specifications, defined working methods and drawings to build components and sub-assemblies. 2. Use kits of parts, hand tools and other equipment to complete assembly ensuring that all parts are fitted to required specification. 3. Inspecting and testing of components and sub-assemblies to required tolerances and technical specification. 4. To handle materials, goods and components carefully and comply with safety regulations so that components are not damaged through mishandling or faulty stowing, stacking or packing EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILL 1. Experience of working in a manufacturing environment. 2. Basic grounding in H&S policies and procedures 3. Basic understanding and interpretation of engineering drawings The Pakage: Salary: £27,000-£30,000 DOE Hours: Monday-Thursday 8-5 Friday 8-12
