Site Manager Housing

Linear are working alongside a growing high spec house builder looking to hire an experience Site Manager. Brand new site based in Doncaster Key Purpose of Role To establish and manage a site workforce capable of constructing the company’s product in a safe and diligent manner, to the highest possible standard, on time and in line with predetermined cost. Responsible for: Assistant Site Manager, Labourers, Forklift Driver, Apprentices, Subcontractors, and utility providers. The Site Manager is responsible for effectively managing and controlling all aspects of the build process on a development, as specified. Key Duties / Responsibilities To comply with the company’s build policy and procedures. Supervise and coordinate staff, subcontractors, material suppliers and utility providers to ensure an efficient method of build, to the required build quality and build programme. Scheduling works to be carried out, to ensure production targets are achieved and a high quality of product is maintained. To ensure production targets are met, whilst producing the highest quality of product and costs are kept within budget. Comply with the Site Managers responsibilities, as laid down in the company’s Health, Safety and Environment Policy and complete the relevant documentation on a weekly/monthly basis. Liaise with the sales department and customers to ensure the highest possible customer care performance/satisfaction and complete all relevant inspections and documentations. Qualifications HNC/HND Experience Experience of effectively managing projects, teams and contractors within the house building industry. Key knowledge and skills Up to date knowledge of health & safety and building legislation. Delivers on time and to target. Personal attributes Highly motivated and resilient.
