Quantity Surveyor – Senior / Project - Carnforth - Construction Ranging from £55k - £65k plus full company benefits package A privately owned construction business with a strong pipeline in Cumbria is looking to recruit commercial QS staff – at Senior QS level. The business has a successful trading history, now thanks to key board level plans they are looking to enhance their commercial management team. The Company are so diverse in their ability to delivering projects more led by the clients’ requirements than being industry specific. They have capability across many market sectors including Commercial, Health, Education, Industrial, Residential, Groundworks & General Construction. Senior Quantity Surveyor Experience Ideals * Minimum BSc in Quantity Surveying * 10 years’ experience in the construction sector working for a contractor with construction delivery. * Effective working knowledge of both JCT and NEC contracts would be ideal but not essential Person Specification * Detail and solution orientation * Capable of working on own initiative within an agreed framework of empowerment * Someone who will fight hard but fair for contractual entitlement * Likes to feel part of an effective team * Visible i.e.: enjoys working on-site and within an office environment * Confident and effective communicator We look forward to speaking with you
