Warehouse Operative with Forklift License

Join our team at Adecco as we seek a skilled Warehouse Operative with a valid Forklift License to support our busy client in Inchinnan. This long-term ongoing temporary role offers Monday to Friday shifts from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Position Objective:

As a Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for performing warehousing duties including goods receiving, storage control, and material handling processes. Your role is crucial in meeting daily requirements for the manufacture of cell culture media and reagents while maintaining performance expectations consistently.

Essential Functions:

• Perform warehouse duties in compliance with current SOP's, GMP, PPI process, and 5s standards.
• Operate semi-automated and automated equipment efficiently.
• Prioritise critical tasks and balance multiple responsibilities effectively.
• Meet standards defined by the manufacturing process consistently.
• Follow established procedures outlined in training and SOPs.
• Conduct basic safety checks on mechanical equipment including Reach, Counterbalance, and other powered forklift trucks.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint packages; ERP software experience is advantageous.
• Ensure all duties are performed safely and efficiently, maintaining housekeeping standards.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills and take initiative in suggesting new procedures.
• Be accountable for actions and engage in continuous improvement initiatives.

Experience:

Candidates must have at least 3 years of experience in a similar industry, preferably in a high-throughput manufacturing environment. A passion for the work and a drive for continuous improvement are essential qualities for this role.

Working Conditions:

• Works in a manufacturing environment, lifting up to 40 lbs.
• May be required to stand for extended periods and work safely with chemicals and hazardous materials.
• Must be comfortable working in various temperatures including room temperature, 2-8 cold room, and -15 to -20 environments.
• Flexibility for overtime and flexible shifts is necessary.
