Electrical Engineer
13.86ph - 15.40ph, Corby, Monday to Thursday 8.30am - 4.30pm, Friday 8.30am - 3.30pm Permanent after successful temporary period, Immediate Start.

Our client has been established for over 20 years providing premium quality products designed to maximise productivity, increase efficiency, and ensure operator safety with their products known for their durability and dependability.

Duties:

  • Oversee the installation of electrical equipment and systems, to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance activities on electrical systems, diagnosing and resolving issues to minimise downtime and optimise performance.
  • Uphold safety protocols and regulations governing electrical installations and operations, implementing measures to mitigate risks and promote a safe working environment.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of electrical designs, installations, and maintenance activities, providing regular reports and updates as needed.
  • Completing all relevant paperwork.

The Requirements:

  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
  • Good team player with a positive, proactive attitude to workload and comfortable working to schedules.
  • Excellent attention to detail, good eyesight, and dexterity for accurate performance of repetitive.
  • Reliable and flexible approach to work, with a keen willingness to learn and develop new skills.
  • Experience of working in a similar role.
  • Able to manage own work and deliver on time.
  • Reliable and hardworking.
  • Work in a tidy and clean manner.

We would expect the successful Electrical Engineer to be able to demonstrate the ability to create high quality products by utilising their skills and experience, be an excellent communicator and enjoy being part of a busy workshop team. You will be supported one to one to become familiar with the company processes and procedures. This would be an ideal role for you if you have worked within in a similar role. Having an 18th Edition qualification would be highly advantageous.

You will be reporting directly into the Fabrication Supervisor.
