PUBS HEAD CHEF We are looking to recruit a creative Head Chef / Kitchen Manager for a very busy fresh food gastro pub-restaurant in Hassock, West Sussex. This is one of a small chain of gastro pub-restaurants serving local, seasonal high quality food. Do to the beautiful countryside location; it is imperative you have your own transport. Your role as a Head Chef / Kitchen Manager: * The day-to-day management of the kitchen * Motivating yourself and your brigade * Ensuring food is to an exacting standard * Training staff * Stock control and ordering * Staff rotas * Support FOH * Adhere to company standards and procedures * Ensure Health & Safety and COSHH laws are observed The successful Head Chef / Kitchen Manager will have: * At least 2 years as a Head Chef or Kitchen Manager * A background in a busy gastro pub or similar * Creative talent with fresh ingredients * Excellent technical skill * Ability to work under pressure * A great personality All candidates will be required to demonstrate their right to work in the UK.
