Machine Setter

We are currently looking to recruit for a Machine Setter to join our Crewe based client within their production area of the business. Monday to Thursday, 06:45 – 17:15 with a requirement to work two Fridays out of the month. Overtime may be requested. Job specification * Setting up and maintaining production line, to minimise downtime and promptly address issues. * Oversee and execute both automated and manual cleaning of equipment. * Fill out daily check sheets and promptly report any faults or issues to the Maintenance Team * Maintain a clean and safe working environment * Abide by Company Health & Safety policies and procedures * Fulfill other duties within the general scope of the job. Essential Skills/Knowledge * Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment. * Familiarity with relevant machinery and equipment. * Strong understanding of production line operations, quality control, critical control points and Health and Safety protocols. Desirable Skills/Knowledge * Relevant vocational training or certification in machine operation or a related field. * Ability to troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical issues promptly * Proficiency in mechanical skills to set up and adjust machinery accurately Personal Specifications Someone with a ‘can do attitude’ who enjoys getting involved and is passionate about their work and driving continuous improvement within the company.
