Automotive Electrical Fitter

Our client, a leading name in their field, are looking for Electrical Fitters with automotive experience. A progressive company who provide their engineers with excellent training and great career development opportunities you will be installing and then commissioning electrical equipment on heavy duty automotive vehicles (buses, coaches, trucks) and must have previous experience working in a practical role with this type of vehicle and an electrical/electronic engineering qualification.

Automotive Electrical Fitter - Role and Responsibilities - Automotive / Bus / Coach / HGV / LGV / Truck / Vehicle Technician

Checking the electrical condition of existing vehicles, and then carrying out planned electrical work
Lead and train a small team in a hands on capacity to carry out the same electrical work under your direction
Ensuring day to day issues with Engineering / Quality / Purchasing / Stores are logged and resolved with preventative actions in place
Monitor & maintain department consumable stock / tooling levels

Automotive Electrical Fitter - Skills and Abilities - Automotive / Bus / Coach / HGV / LGV / Truck / Vehicle Technician

A recognised engineering qualification
Mechanical Engineers with Electrical experience or preferably Electrical Engineers with Mechanical experience
Automotive experience
If you have worked with Battery powered or Diesel vehicles this would be an advantage
