Skilled Machinist Job Location: Fareham, Hampshire Job Type: Permanent Salary: £12.06 – £15.12 per hour / £24,451 - £30,668 per annum, depending on experience Hours: 39 hours per week, Monday – Thursday 8am – 4.30pm & Friday 8.00am – 1.00pm Benefits: 33 days holiday, enhanced pension, company bonus, share options, life and health insurance, opportunities for further personal & professional development / training, employee assistance program, employee perks scheme We are currently recruiting for a Skilled Machinist for a renowned and well-established Aerospace manufacturer on a permanent basis. Founded over 100 years ago, the company have developed & grown every year to where they are now known for the design & manufacture of aerospace components and parts. Within this role you will be undertaking a multitude of machining tasks including grinding, milling, turning and operating power presses & fly presses. You will be working from drawing and undertaking inspection of your work. For this role you will have the following experience; * Experience within the aerospace industry * Experience of; * Surface Grinders * Universal Grinders * Manual Mills * Manual Lathes * Power Presses * Fly Presses * Ability to read engineering drawings * Understanding of lean principles (5S/6S) For more information on these positions, please call our recruitment team directly on (phone number removed) or by emailing your CV.
