General Operator (Plastics)

Job title: General operator (Plastics) Location: Bolton 12-month FTC £16.88 rising to £17.88 SRG are working with a UK defence company to hire a general operator for a site based in Bolton, UK. As a general operator, you'd be responsible for carrying out assembly and manufacturing procedures, working to all quality standards and safety procedures. This role would be perfect for someone with experience in defence or electronic manufacturing, but any experience using a fine detail, paintbrush would be considered, as a large part of this role requires precision painting. As this role is within the defence industry, the successful candidate will have to be a British National. Key Responsibilities will include: Detailed standard assembly/ manufacturing activities, using paintbrushes to seal vital components on electrical components. Following technical specifications to help create assemblies. Undertaking all work to requisite procedures, quality standards, safety requirements and timescales. Contribute to the efficient movement of work and information in the manufacturing area. Comply with all health and safety requirements. Candidate Requirements: UK national Experience working with small brushes, either in their personal time or professional life, would be an excellent skillset. Dexterity for fine manufacturing work.
