Credit Ratings Specialist Three Month Contract London - Hybrid Outside of IR35 Rate - Quote Our insurance sector client is looking for an experience Credit Ratings Specialist. The UK life assurance industry is going through regulatory changes introduced by the regulator (PRA) which cover different elements, including MA attestation and Credit Ratings. The main focus of this role is around the Credit Ratings workstreams, including credit rating methodologies, models and governance. They are looking for someone with deep experience and expertise in a similar role, including setting up credit rating framework in line with regulatory requirements and internal governance. Skills and Knowledge required An insurance sector background Excellent knowledge of credit rating framework, including production of credit rating methodologies and related governance documents Excellent understanding of credit rating models Excellent problem analysis and resolution skills. Strong experience in project management and dealing with regulatory requirements Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial concepts in a clear and concise manner. Strong commercial acumen and awareness of economics, corporate activity, regulatory activity, financial markets and current affairs. Good understanding of business processes around governance and risk. Demonstrable experience of communication to an executive level audience - written and verbal
