Salary: 43,400

Randstad Engineering are currently looking for a maintenance technician for an impressive client of ours. They are an Energy from Waste business that specialises in converting non-recyclable waste into renewable energy. Primarily, the role will be working on the facilities site services equipment i.e water treatment, however, this is not a defined requirement for the position, as training can be given on the equipment as necessary. We welcome applications from engineers with all equipment and manufacturing backgrounds.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a hands-on maintenance, fault finding and repairing role.
  • Competent with either mechanical or electrical systems
  • Previous experience working within a manufacturing facility
  • Previous experience working with site services, utilities or water treatment equipment (beneficial)

Reporting to the engineering manager, you will work as part of the day shift engineering team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Reactive maintenance- attending to breakdowns, fault finding and repairing on a range of site services/utilities equipment.
  • Planned maintenance- starting up of machinery, servicing, replacing of components periodically.
  • Providing technical support and assignment to the production operations team.
  • Facilities and building maintenance.
