CAD Engineer

Job Description

• Assist with management and distribution of incoming data
• As part of your CAD modelling responsibilities you will be expected to create highly detailed technical drawings and make necessary modifications for manufacture
• Create technical solutions to design challenges
• Assist with meetings with Clients from a technical perspective
• Bridge the gap between design and manufacture, working closely with all disciplines within the process including CAS, Design, Clay and CMF
• Adhere to strict time schedules and update various departments on timescales
• Transfer and describe engineering and legislative requirements to design
• Work with in-house software (Catia V5)

• A passion for automotive design
• High attention to detail and appreciation for quality
• Positive attitude to work hard within a team and alone
• Problem solver and ability to work to strict deadlines
• Good Microsoft Office experience
• Highly energetic and have a passion for teamwork and delivery
• Experience working in an automotive OEM or Tier One supplier in a specific CAD role
• Experience working with prototype models an advantage
