We require a Commercial Manager & Business Development Specialist based in central London.

Position Overview:

Are expanding our team and seeking a highly motivated individual to join us as a Commercial Manager & Business Development Specialist. This role offers a unique split of 70/30 between commercial management responsibilities and business development activities, with a strong emphasis on bringing new work to the business. The right candidate will have the opportunity for advancement to Commercial Director, with a preference for individuals who can bring in their own clients and leads.

Key Responsibilities:

Commercial Management:

- Oversee all commercial aspects of projects, including cost control, budget management, and contract negotiations.

- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and manage risk effectively.

- Implement strategies to maximise profitability while upholding high standards of quality and client satisfaction.

Business Development:

- Identify and nurture new business opportunities within the construction sector.

- maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.

- Develop and execute strategies to expand our client base and drive revenue growth.

Requirements:

- Minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial management within the construction industry.

- Demonstrated success in business development and client retention

- Exceptional negotiation skills with a proven ability to close deals effectively.

- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

- Degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred or proof of winning past and present work.
