Operations Technician


In your role you will be responsible for the performance of field operation & maintenance duties for several assets/facilities & plants within your area. You will act as a technical and local point of contact with gas suppliers and/or customers. Whilst following and enforcing the Security procedures within the framework of regulatory requirements you ensure with the help and monitoring of competent people, the maintenance in good general condition of the installations.

How you will make an impact:

  • Apply regulatory safety rules to all responsible sites

  • Training subcontractors and users to safety rules

  • Alerting and raising awareness when witnessing risky situations

  • Root cause analysis of safety incidents

  • Participating and is involved in the RAMS (Risk Assessment Method Statement)

  • Managing and Coordinating site emergency procedures (including Waste paperwork & COSHH documentation)

  • Writing and checking Standard Operating Procedure for Works & Review Risk Assessment & Method Statement creation

  • Maintaining the history of interventions carried out on the installations writing exhaustive reports

  • Managing the updating of the documentation "As built" of the equipment and the installation according to the MOCs issued.

  • Carrying out routine checks

  • Maintaining sites and equipments in good operation conditions

  • Contributing to managing part procurement & stock

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

  • Working experience of mechanical or electrical engineering

  • UK Driving license

  • Knowledge of gas (LNG CNG, Biogas)

  • Knowledge in cryogenics (processes, equipment, risks).

  • Knowledge in instrumentation and gas analysis.

  • Knowledge of P&FD, P&ID, electrical diagram, functional analysis.

  • Experience of writing of technical reports and procedures

  • Knowledge in Managing Safely/Risk Assessment

  • Have the right to work in UK
