Multi Skilled Operative

Job objectives and responsibilities Responsible for performing a range of general repairs and maintenance tasks to facilities across various locations. You will also ensure compliance with health and safety standards and customer satisfaction. Driving licence with less than 6 points essential Van provided Main duties Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on building fabric, such as doors, windows, walls, floors, ceilings, roofs, etc. Perform minor carpentry, plumbing, painting, and decorating works as required Repair and replace fixtures and fittings, such as locks, hinges, handles, etc. Respond to and resolve customer requests and complaints in a timely and professional manner Use and maintain tools and equipment in a safe and proper way Keep accurate records of work done and materials used via PDA and CMMS systems and applications Work in accordance with health and safety regulations and company policies Liaise with other contractors and suppliers as needed· Provide technical advice and support to other team members Person Specification Experience & Qualifications NVQ/SVQ Level 2 or 3 in Building Maintenance or equivalent Minimum 3 year post qualification experience or 3 years site-based experience in a similar environment Experience in fabric maintenance and building services Knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, painting, and decorating skills to an acceptable standard in accordance with LBG policies and style guides Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to different sitesInteracting & Communicating · Knowledge of commercial requirements of contract · Knowledge of all requirements for administration of service excellent · Good verbal and written communication skills Analysing & Reporting · Ability to assess asset condition, report findings and solutions in a clear and concise way.
