EXPERIENCED OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR / TEAM LEADER - HAZARDOUS WASTE REQUIRED FOR PIVOTAL ROLE IN WASTE PROCESSING OPERATION

TITLE: Operations Supervisor / Team Leader - Hazardous Waste

PACKAGE: 27,000, 20 days holiday + B/H

LOCATION: You should be in Stoke on Trent, or surrounding areas

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE: MRF Shift Manager, MBT Plant Supervisor, Transfer Station Manager, SRF Production Manager, Yard Foreman, Metal Recycling Depot Manager, Recycling Supervisor, Biomass Production Shift Manager, Assistant Operations Manager

ROLE: Operations Supervisor / Team leader - Hazardous Waste

You will manage a team of operatives with varying functions via shift Production Supervisors

You will oversee the day-to-day management of the transfer station and the waste processing operations.

You will ensure the site meets expected levels of safety and environmental compliance.

EXPERIENCE: Operations Supervisor / Team leader - Hazardous Waste
You will be a strong man manager with good examples of manging individuals and teams, leading change and improving employee engagement.

You will ideally have an IOSH safety qualifications, FLT counterbalance, ADR Awareness Training

You will have a strong production background ideally in waste management or some kind of heavy or industrial process with large capital plant in operation such as Foundry, Quarry, Aggregates, Building Products, Steel, Mining, Biomass, Metal Recycling, MBT, MRF, Green Waste, Demolition Waste, Brick Production etc.
