Credit Controller- Sales Ledger
Our client, a prominent player in waste management, is seeking a dynamic individual to join their Accounts Payable team as a Credit Controller. This role entails managing finance responsibilities with a focus on contacting customers to ensure timely payments on overdue accounts.
Location: Chorley and Surrounding Areas

Salary: 28,000 plus pension
Working Hours: 9 am - 5:00 pm with a 30-minute lunch break
Previous Job Titles Considered: Accounts Assistant, Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger, Account Coordinator, Finance Administrator
Experience Requirements:
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Proficiency in IT with basic Excel knowledge; additional IT training provided
Prior experience in Accounts Administration or related roles preferred, with exposure to customer-facing responsibilities being advantageous
Ability to learn quickly and demonstrate initiative, including proactive engagement with clients
Capacity to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
