Maintenance Engineer

Our client is a very successful and established manufacturing business and Staffbase have been appointed to recruit for the position of Maintenance Engineer.

The Role:

Reporting to the Engineering Manager you will be responsible for undertaking planned and reactive mechanical & electrical maintenance and repair work on a range of production machinery.
Duties will include but is not limited to the following;

• Maintenance, service and repair of conveyors, crushers, balers, weighing and bagging machines
• Single & 3-phase electrical fault find and repair control panels, motors, contactors, sensors, relays etc etc
• Mechanical, fault find and repair gearboxes, belts, bearings, sprockets, belts, pumps, motors,
• Mig / Stick welding
• Update CMMS system
• Some basic facilities maintenance

Candidate:

We are seeking experienced maintenance engineer with excellent mechanical and electrical fault find and repair skills.

Ideally you will previous maintenance and repair experience in a heavy industry manufacturing environment e,g, recycling, quarrying, mining, agriculture will be preferred.

You will have a recognised mechanical engineering qualification and applicants with electrical qualifications will have advantage.

Hours of Work:

12 hour shifts Panama Days & Nights

Competitive basic salary 48K + OT

Gross earnings 53K - 56K
