Group Digital Marketing Manager


Our Client is an award-winning developer of upper-mid-market homes across the South-East. The company has a clear and credible strategy to build 1,000 homes annually within the next 5 years. Customer enquiries need to grow significantly to help meet the business plan, with digital marketing playing an increasingly important role year on year. The Group function, which supports its 3 regional businesses, is now seeking a highly motivated and experienced Group Digital Marketing Manager, who will support regional Sales teams in designing and executing multi-channel campaigns, delivering high-quality leads to help teams meet their sales targets. The newly established role requires a high level of collaboration with regional Sales teams, providing the group with a competitive point of difference that can be more nimble and agile in responding to regional demands, including exploring novel ways to reach our target customers in-line with industry trends. Reporting to Group Head of Strategy, the role will also have high-visibility with the Chief Operating Officer and is a great opportunity to work with a dynamic and growing team in a fast-paced environment. Experience and skills • At least 5 years’ experience designing and implementing digital marketing strategies, including at least 2 years’ corporate/non-agency experience • Housing or other high-value retail sector experience highly preferable; retail experience as a minimum • Extensive use of Google Ads, Analytics, Search Console and Tag Manager, as well as website CMS software, CRM (Salesforce preferred), email platforms, and other tools to implement strategies • Use of Excel to analyse campaign data, and PowerPoint to communicate performance and recommendations • Highly personable and able to communicate with a broad audience, including drafting copy in brand persona Roles and responsibilities Increase the volume and quality of digital leads to support regional sales velocity: • Site level strategy – defining campaigns and target audiences alongside Sales teams • Website and SEO – management and optimisation to improve conversions and cost per lead • Paid search and display – design, execution and monitoring, alongside agency • Email – journey management, campaign design and execution to ‘nudge’ leads through the funnel • Social: B2C - regular content sharing, growing brand equity with prospective customers • Collaboration with regional teams to create compelling content, graphics and assets • Quality control / brand consistency across website and other channels • Reporting and analytics – campaign performance and creation of actionable insights Location and working patterns • Group/Central office in Buckinghamshire as ‘base’ for Group functions – each Monday • Extensive travel on a regular basis to regional offices depending on business requirements, to enhance development context and regional objectives, as well as improve collaboration with Sales teams • Attending weekly Sales team meetings for each region
