Sales Engineer

Sales Engineer / Service Sales Manager / Area Sales Manager is required to join a global growing engineering manufacturer specialising in Industrial Automation products. The successful Sales Engineer / Service Sales Manager / Area Sales Manager will be responsible for building key accounts with major customers across the UK, supporting industrial automated queries working with bespoke software, software development and documentation of automation systems, distributed control systems (DCS) and quality control systems (QCS).   The Sales Engineer / Service Sales Manager / Area Sales Manager will Ideally have experience in selling automation products, services and contracts into the industrial sector or similar experience, full product training is provided. The successful candidate will have DCS, QCS, SCADA, Siemens, PLC, HMI, Instrumentation systems, Safety Instrumented Systems, Information Management and HIMA knowledge with experience in process control/ automation/ power generation / marine environment and a background in sales or experience within the commercial market, working with customers to provide solutions. Package £52,000k – £64,000k Company car or car allowance Bonus Pension 25 days holiday plus bank holidays Additional company benefits Sales Engineer / Service Sales Manager / Area Sales Manager Role Responsible for key account management with major customers across the UK and Ireland selling services of various automation equipment such as DCS, QCS, SCADA, Siemens, PLC, HMI, and HIMA. Working closely with an existing customer base providing solutions for Instrumentation systems, Safety Instrumented Systems, and Information Management. Liaise with customers to identify specifications/requirements and offer technical automation system solutions. Liaising with engineering departments and various other sales engineers. Working with customers to provide system extensions, retrofits, upgrades, and process optimization for bespoke software communicating with various engineering departments and various other sales engineers to provide an excellent solution. Management of the whole of the UK, planning days and visits to customers and when it’s needed to ensure a top level of service. Reporting to the Service Manager.   Sales Engineer / Service Sales Manager / Area Sales Manager Requirements. Have a strong understanding of IT/OT concepts including Networks, Security and Operating Systems Experience as a sales engineer, key account manager, service sales manager, solution sales manager service sales engineer, technical sales engineer, applications engineer, sales manager or sold service as part of a technical sell previously.  Knowledge of DCS, QCS, SCADA, Siemens, PLC, HMI, Instrumentation systems, Safety Instrumented Systems, Information Management and HIMA going into in process control/ automation/ power generation / marine environment A key interest in automation and the industries it serves. An Engineering such as Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, Aerospace, Physics Chemistry or similar would be beneficial. Based in a location that can cover the whole country, some international travel will be required   Full UK driving licence & Passport
