Trainee Claims Handler

We have an exciting opportunity for individuals looking to start their career in a company that offers extensive training and support and offers a clear career path.

Working in the claims team of this recognised insurance company you will be allocated a small number of claims to start building your own portfolio. You will be trained to investigate, negotiate and settle claims.

Working Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.

Paying 20,500 + Benefits initially. You will then have 4 monthly performance reviews, with a salary increase to follow.

Duties will include:

• Liaising with closely with customers and third parties via email and telephone.
• Working within the team to ensure that all claims are settled within appropriate time scales.
• Maintaining the system and records for each claim.
• Working closely with team members to ensure overall team success.

Ideal candidate will:

• Have great interpersonal skills, and be able to build strong long-lasting client relationships
• Have a positive and enthusiastic approach to work
• Keen on Self-development with the willingness and want to learn
• Good computer, literacy and numeracy skills
• Office experience and use of a telephone in a professional setting is desirable but not essential.
