Management Accountant

Part Qualified Management Accountant Chorley – Fully office based Salary: circa £35,000 - £45,000  DOE Benefits: Bonus, flexi-time, company discounts Medlock Partners are delighted to partner with a successful 60 million turnover SME business based in the Lancashire area as they look to appoint an ambitious Part Qualified Management Accountant in a newly created role. Reporting directly into the Financial Controller, the successful candidate will have an important part to play in producing the management accounts. You will also have overall responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the cash management, sales, and purchase ledgers. The role has also two direct reports where you can develop your leadership skills. Main Responsibilities: Production of the management accounts Overseeing the collection of debt on a timely basis in conjunction with the accounts assistants Overseeing the purchase ledger duties Overseeing the withdraw of funds from the customer trust fund and the reconciliation of bank accounts Ensuring company card transactions are reconciled and accounted for Intercompany invoicing and reconciliation of intercompany accounts    Key skills and experience: At least two years’ experience in a similar role is essential A part qualified or qualified by experience accountant, with experience of delivering management accounts IT literate, with advanced excel skills Conscientious and concerned with task completion Fast and accurate processor of data Good communicator and able to build relationships Able to manage multiple differing priorities High level of attention to detail.    Priding themselves on their down to earth and friendly business culture, our client is looking for a driven and ambitious candidate who is willing to immerse themselves within the business by proactively developing relationships with senior management and operations.  The ideal candidate will be a part qualified or qualified by experience accountant with excellent communication skills who likes working as part of a team.     If you are interested in this Part Qualified Management Accountant position and feel your experience matches the criteria, then please apply now for immediate consideration or for more information please contact Anna Glapiak.    Medlock Partners are a professional services recruitment specialist operating across the Northwest of England.
