Digital Manufacturing Consultant £45,000 - £70,000 NW, NE and South of England Must be eligible for Security Clearance Our client, who are global leaders in technology, are offering an incredible opportunity for aspiring Digital Manufacturing specialists to join them and make a meaningful difference on their exciting projects within Aerospace and Defence. Role Overview: The primary responsibility is to work with clients to address their specific challenges and turn digital concepts into practical solutions. Create and implement innovative digital transformation solutions for the top Defence organisations. As a key member of the Manufacturing team, you'll collaborate with the Digital Engineering team, combining knowledge of digital technologies like PLM, MES, digital twin, and IoT. Drive comprehensive improvements in profitability, efficiency, quality, and behaviour. Your work will cover various activities such as strategic planning, project analysis, thought leadership, and professional growth, ensuring a dynamic and rewarding experience. Your Skills and Experience: Proven ability to be successful in a matrixed organisation, and to enlist support and commitment from peers in selling and delivering consulting solutions. Consulting experience is preferred. Background in digital manufacturing gained through working with Aerospace/Defence Manufacturing clients. Experience in some of the following: Use of IOT sources for data and analytics Digital manufacturing and process transformation Manufacturing execution systems Product Lifecycle Management Digital twin and threadSecurity Clearance: You will either already have Security Clearance to work in the Defence and Security Industries, or you will qualify for this level of clearance by being a UK resident for at least 5 years and not having lived outside of the UK within the past 5 years.
