Pre-Construction Manager

We are looking for a Pre-Construction Manager to join a privately owned, well-run, ambitious and growing Regional Contractor, based near Sonning, Oxfordshire. They are increasingly winning multi-disciplinary projects direct from clients, and as a result they are keen to recruit an experienced Pre-Construction Manager. Projects are typically located across Berkshire, Oxfordshire, Hampshire, Surrey, Berkshire, Wiltshire and Buckinghamshire and are in the Light Industrial, Commercial,NHS and Defence sectors with Project Values ranging from £250k up to £10 million As , hands-on, Pre-Construction Manager you will be responsible for managing the Pre-construction stage for several major projects at any one time. This includes: * Drafting the project master programmes * Managing the pre-construction/ estimating/ tender stage * Leading estimating activities * Evaluate and act upon tender information and develop an appropriate bid/procurement strategy with other members of the work winning / pre-construction team - incorporating design, construction and commercial aspects to ensure ultimate success. * Developing the pre-construction project budget. * Ensure full Governance is undertaken on all submissions with sign off by all stakeholders. * Ensure changes in programme are communicated to the team members and leadership team * Create the Pre-construction framework within which the business will develop pre-construction activities with Customers and Suppliers. * Proven track record of working on various Construction projects With a Construction related Degree the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate experience of delivering and leading on the entire Pre- Construction process within a Construction Contractor. They will have broad sector experience to include at least one of the following sectors. Commercial, Light Industrial, NHS, Defence. With great long term career prospects and the chance to work on some diverse projects the role comes with a basic salary of £100-£110k ( DOE) plus company car/car allowance, pension medical and 25 days holiday
