Position Overview: We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced CSCS Labourer to join our client. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various construction activities, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to upholding industry safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Site Preparation:

   • Assist in site setup and preparation, including the installation of safety barriers and signage.
   • Clear debris and ensure a clean and organized work area.
   • Support the delivery and storage of materials.

2. Material Handling:

   • Load, unload, and transport construction materials using appropriate tools and equipment.
   • Distribute materials to the designated work areas.

3. Demolition and Excavation:

   • Aid in demolition activities under the guidance of the site supervisor.
   • Assist in excavation and trenching operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

4. Assistance to Trades:

   • Collaborate with skilled tradespeople to facilitate the completion of tasks.
   • Provide support in the installation of various construction components.

5. Health and Safety:

   • Adhere to all health and safety regulations, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
   • Report any safety concerns or incidents immediately to the site supervisor.

Qualifications:

1. Valid CSCS card.
2. Previous experience as a labourer in the construction industry.
3. Familiarity with construction tools and equipment.
4. Ability to follow instructions and work effectively within a team.
5. Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy objects.
6. Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude.
