Reliability Engineer

Synergi are recruiting for a full-time Reliability Engineer to join a food manufacturing business based in West London. The focus of the role is very much based on increasing current line OEE levels and implementing Line Improvements. Shifts are Monday to Friday although flexibility will be needed as the business requires. As a Reliability Engineer, the role requires you: To have deep dives into reoccurring issues, removing current roadblocks in increasing machine availability, Undertake PPMs, Preventative, Predictive and Corrective maintenance Support any installations of new machinery and trials. Reduce line changeover times and assistance in training for autonomous maintenance. Assist the production engineers in Breakdowns if their workload exceeds their capacity due to workload or availability due to Holidays or sickness. Supporting Project Engineers on installation, final execution, ramp up and hand over to production. You will be: A conscientious and hard-working individual that can work with the Engineering Maintenance team Work in a team environment or on their own building good communications with Operations and the Maintenance Planner to assist the wider Engineering team Proactively work on increasing line availability through reduced change over times, removal of repeat breakdowns, implementing improvements in PPMs, Preventative and corrective maintenance. Writing one-page instructions online to recover from breakdowns and lessons learned, increasing line OEE and helping in sourcing parts from suppliers. What's in it for you?
