Design Technician

Design Technician North Yorkshire £35,000 - £40,000 DOE Permanent, Full Time Are you an experience designer within the construction industry? Would you enjoy working for a large national employer within a specialist division? We are seeking to speak to experienced designers with a strong background in the construction industry. Working alongside an already established team you will play a key part in the successful delivery of modular projects across the commercial sector up to the value of £2 million. We are looking for a design technician who: Designs layouts, foundation plans, and elevations. Has estimating experience. Keeps up to date with technical information and building regulations. Assists with fresh enquiries and ongoing projects. Can read from construction drawings to produce accurate take offs. Can demonstrate a strong understanding of AutoCAD - Revit would be advantageous not essential. Has a high attention to detail. Can work well in a team & on own initiative.
