MS Defender Consultant

MS Defender Consultant Rate: £550 - £650 per day (via Umbrella / Inside IR35) Duration: 6-Months initially Location: mostly remote based (occasional travel required to either London or Edinburgh sites). Overview: Leading retail & commercial bank has deployed Microsoft Defender to protect itself against potential attacks. The client is looking for a Subject Matter Expert to configure, deploy and maximise it's overall performance in order to help safeguard the business from malicious cyber threats. What will need to have: Experience of deploying & managing MS Defender for Endpoint across diverse OS, especially legacy servers. Integration of Defender settings and automated deployment through tools like Ansible, GPO, and Intune. Experience with legacy Defender versions, particularly on RHEL platforms. Proven troubleshooting capabilities and the ability to collaborate with IT teams and Microsoft support. Innovative mindset to drive automation, improving deployment, management, and monitoring of endpoint agents. Financial services exposure (nice-to-have).
