Electrical Site Manager - Glasgow

Mechanical Site Manager The Company Boyd Recruitment are currently working alongside an M&E Contractor who are looking to recruit an experienced Electrical Site Manager for a project in Glasgow.  Our client are well-reputed within the construction industry and are recruiting for a key area of their business. The successful candidate will play an important role in overseeing a Commercial / Industrial Project.  Experience in similar projects would be highly advantageous  Dependant on experience, you can expect a competitive base salary, vehicle or car allowance, phone, laptop, bonus & pension.  Rate of Pay:  £310 - £340 Day rate  (10 hour shifts)  The Position As Electrical Site Manager, you will be working closely with the site team to ensure the successful delivery of Electrical packages on the project.  Daily duties are as follows: • Plan, manage and conduct site inductions, and maintain site safety inspections and records. • Completing and managing risk assessments. • Maintaining health and safety on site, including reports and actions. • Support the PM to develop and maintain the inspection, test and commission plans and project quality control plans. • Maintain record drawings of installed work. •  Valid (SSSTS) The Person The successful individual will be ambitious with the drive to establish themselves as a senior leader within this growing business. Ideally you will have the following: Strong Electrical background. Excellent communication. Good understanding of site programmes and project delivery. IT proficient with Microsoft Packages, including Microsoft Excel.
