With a curriculum designed to engage and inspire, we provide a well-rounded education that prepares students for their future.    Geography Specialist Role: The successful Geography Specialist will be part of an energetic and creative team, focusing on delivering engaging Geography lessons and supporting young people with learning needs. Responsibilities include:  Delivering engaging and interactive Geography lessons to small groups of students.  Providing one-on-one mentoring and support to students struggling with Geography concepts.  Creating innovative resources and activities to enhance students' understanding and enjoyment of Geography.  Collaborating with teachers to identify areas for improvement and develop targeted intervention strategies.  Inspiring and motivating students to achieve their academic goals and aspirations.  Fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued and supported.   Geography Specialist Requirements: To be considered for this role, you must have:  A Bachelor's degree in Geography or a related field.  Previous experience working with secondary school students, preferably in a mentoring or tutoring capacity.  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.  Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Geography education.  The ability to inspire and engage students from diverse backgrounds.  Flexibility, patience, and empathy when working with students facing academic challenges.  Can do field trips 3 days a week.   Please be advised that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection, and successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks including an enhanced DBS registered to the update service or willingness to apply for a new one.  Apply Now:  If you are interested in the position of Food Technology Teacher in Hull, please contact Dena Gillies at GSL Education Hull.
