One Way are looking for Steel Fixers and Shuttering Carpenters in St. Columb, Cornwall Requirements: - a valid CSCS card - NVQ Level 2 - Own Tools Steel Fixer Duties: - Assemble and erect the steel components required to strengthen reinforced concrete structures such as bridges, culverts, docks, industrial plants, power stations, railway stations, reservoirs, sub-ways, water treatment, and sewerage plants - Ensure work is carried out to a high standard, using hand and power tools when cutting or bending bars and mesh, following engineering plans, fitting supports and other associated tasks. - All other associated tasks Shuttering Carpenter Duties: - Interpret blueprints, schematics and construction plans to determine the size and shape of formwork required. - Cut, shape and fit timber to create formwork for columns, walls, beams, and slabs, storing wood appropriately to avoid cracking. - Check formwork for defects and make necessary repairs. - All other associated tasks For more information, please call Ola at One Way on (phone number removed).
