Part-Time SENCO


GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced Part-Time SENCO to join our team. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to support the diverse needs of students and promote inclusive education within our schools. Key Responsibilities: Overseeing the provision of special educational needs support across the school. Collaborating with teachers, parents, and external agencies to identify and assess students with special educational needs. Developing and implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) to meet the specific needs of SEN students. Providing guidance and support to teaching staff to ensure the effective implementation of SEN strategies in the classroom. Monitoring and reviewing the progress of SEN students, adjusting support plans as needed.Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant SENCO qualification. Proven experience working with students with special educational needs, preferably in a school setting. Strong understanding of SEN legislation, policies, and best practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
