You’ve just found it! Info below:  Job Title: Band 3 Locum Pharmacy Dispenser/Assistant required ASAP! Location: Aylesbury Duration: 6 months, ongoing. Schedule: Monday to Friday (part time WILL also considered) 8.00am - 5.00pm (60 mins lunch) Start Date: March/April 2024  Rate of pay: £13 - £14 per hour depending on prior experience. PAYE. No pharmacy qualification required, however prior UK pharmacy experienced in either a community or hospital pharmacy is needed A Day in the Life of a Prison based Pharmacy Dispenser/Assistant: As a specialist pharmacy assistant, you will play a crucial role assisting across the prison dispensary team.  No prior prison experience required - training will be given here!  Dispensing duties in the main on site dispensary Assisting with dispensing prescriptions and medications  Looking after the pharmacy stores area where stock is kept There could be some stock ordering work required here too  Other general dispensary tasks likely   To note - you must leave all eletronic devices and phones etc at the entrance of the prison on arrival each morning, you cannot take electronics inside the prison.  Requirements and qualifications required for this role: Some form of prior pharmacy work experience ideally from a community or hospital pharmacy Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Commitment to providing high-quality patient care. Working hours and contract duration: This position will require you to work from Monday to Friday, but hours can be flexible.
