Teaching Assistant

Step Teachers are working with a Nursery school in Newham looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant with a Level 3 qualification to support an Early Years class in the nursery. This Teaching Assistant role is subject to start in April 2024 ongoing basis. For the right Teaching Assistant, there is an opportunity for a permanent contract.  This wonderful nursery is committed to children, families and parents in ensuring exciting and stimulating learning experiences and opportunities.  Teaching Assistant role: Make a positive impact, academically, socially and emotionally within the classroom Encouraging positive behaviour and providing pastoral support to children when required. Providing feedback to parents and carers on children’s progress and achievements. Assist the class teacher with planning and delivery of activities Teaching Assistant requirements: A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent is essential Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents SEN experience as a Teaching Assistant is desirable  Why Step Teachers?
