It Support Technician

Consisting of eight subsidiaries, we’re on an exciting growth plan! Right now, due to our growth plans, we are looking for an IT Support Technician to join our growing IT Team on a permanent contract out of our offices in Maidstone, Kent, where you’ll provide an exceptional level of customer service to our business, across our various regions and regional sites. About The Role… As our IT Support Technician, you will be the first point of contact for all staff across the group who may require IT support, you will have to triage issues, and determine whether it can be fixed immediately or needs escalating, and to whom. Your excellent Customer Service Skills will be beneficial as you can be expected to participate in the processing of incoming calls to the Service Desk via both telephone, helpdesk system and e-mail and ensuring a quick and timely resolution or escalating where necessary. As well as diagnosing IT issues, you will be responsible for setting up and configuring new laptops / desktops, including installing authorised software and security and upgrades are applied to desktops and laptops. You’ll also assist in the setting up of IT infrastructure for all of our new Construction Sites. What you’ll need… We want the best! You’ll come from a similar position, with a strong background in IT Support, Excellent organisation skills, as well as strong and understanding and proven experience of Office 365, Active Directories (Azure / On Prem), Networking – such as VOIP, TCP IP Routing, VLAN, and SharePoint management.
