Deputy Quality Manager

K.A.G. Recruitment are working on a fantastic exclusive opportunity for a Deputy Quality Manager to join our client, a market leading Pet Food Manufacturer based in Boulogne Sur Mer, Northern France. Role: Deputy Quality Manager Location: Boulogne Sur Mer, Northern France Salary: 40k € to 55k € DOE (paid on a 13-month basis) Benefits: 218 working days per year, Annual Leave (25 days), Extra Days Off (8 to 10 days depending on calendar year- to arrive at 218), Seniority Bonus: starting after 3 years (+3%) As the Deputy Quality Manager at our clients Boulogne Factory, you'll be part of a leading progressive organisation who are a specially formulated cat and dog food producer that are recognised for their innovation, collaboration, quality and market expertise. Key responsibilities of this role include: Maintain the Quality Management System in accordance with the various standards in force and actively participate in its deployment to the various stakeholders. Write, update and improve the various documents of the food quality and management system. Manage both internal and external audits in collaboration with the Quality Manager and oversee corrective & preventative action plans. Work with various stakeholders to set up, deploy and update documents or operating procedures. Support the 2 Production sites in the absence of Quality Control Managers. Analyse root causes of non-conformities identified. Be a point of contact for customers. You will ideally be educated to Degree level in a Engineering/ Quality or Science related discipline and have previous experience in a Manufacturing / or Food processing background. You will possess excellent people management skills and the ability to work effectively and communicate well in a demanding environment with experience of working to BRC/ IFS standards. Fluency within English and French both written and verbal is essential for this role
