Class 1 Tramper Driver
to join their transport team.
The Role as a HGV Driver:
-
Operating
Class 1 (C+E)
vehicles with
curtain sider trailers
-
Tramping work
nights out during the week required
-
Delivering goods across various UK locations
-
Completing all paperwork and vehicle checks in line with legal requirements

Ensuring safe and efficient delivery of loads
Requirements for a HGV Driver:

Full UK Class 1 (C+E) driving licence
-
Minimum
2 years Class 1 driving experience
-
No more than
6 points
on your licence (NO IN10s, DRs or DDs)

Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph cards
-
Reliable, professional, and safety-conscious

Job Overview

Duties

Operate lorries for the purpose of transporting goods to various locations.

Ensure the safe loading and unloading of cargo, including flatbed deliveries when required.

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.

Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle maintenance, and delivery records.

Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.

Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations related to commercial driving.

Provide excellent customer service by representing the company professionally during deliveries.
Qualifications
-
Valid Commercial Driving Licence (CDL) with a clean driving record.

Experience as a Delivery Driver or in commercial driving is preferred.

Familiarity with flatbed operations is advantageous but not essential.

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.

Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
