You'll work in a production environment manufacturing ophthalmic lenses , using a range of standard operating procedures and equipment. Attention to detail, a can-do attitude, and willingness to learn are key for success in this role. All training is provided.
Key ResponsibilitiesProduce lenses using set operating procedures
Operate and monitor production machinery
Maintain clean and safe workstation
Report machinery or workflow issues promptly
Meet departmental production targets
Support your colleagues to ensure smooth workflow
Comply with all Health & Safety requirements
Take part in regular cleaning and maintenance routines
Monday to Friday
7:00am - 4:00pm
No weekend or shift work
Able to work full-time weekday hours
Reliable and consistent attendance
Confident using computers or hand scanners
Comfortable working in a production or manufacturing setting
Strong attention to detail
Good communication skills and team spirit
Previous experience in optical, medical or manufacturing industries is desirable but not essential
