Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are looking for a skilled and reliable Experienced Road Sweeper to join our client s Street Cleansing team. This key role helps to ensure our streets, parks, and public spaces are clean, safe, and welcoming for residents and visitors.

Main Duties:

• Operate mechanical road sweepers and other cleansing equipment throughout the district
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report maintenance requirements
• Assist with litter picking, removal of fly-tipping, and emptying public litter bins
• Work to scheduled routes and respond to operational needs as required
• Comply with all health and safety regulations and council procedures

Requirements:

• A valid Class 2 HGV (Category C) licence
• A current Driver CPC card
• Previous experience operating road sweepers or similar vehicles is preferred
• Good level of physical fitness and the ability to work outdoors in all weather
• A dependable team player with a strong work ethic
