Location: Variety of schools in Tunbridge wells

Contract: Temporary (with potential for long-term opportunities)

Start date: Flexible

Pay: 130 to 200 per day (dependent upon experience, training, qualifications)

At Term Time Teachers we are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable History Teacher to join schools in the Tunbridge Wells area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging History lessons secondary school students, whilst supporting academic success and students' knowledge.

The Role:

• Teaching History to secondary school students
• Creating and delivering engaging, curriculum led lessons
• Supporting students' academic progress and creating a love of History
• Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies

Minimum Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching History in UK secondary schools
• An Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willing to apply for one)
• Strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management skills
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
• Hold the right to work in the UK
