Semi-Skilled Fitter

Job title: Semi-Skilled Fabricators (Training Provided)
Job location: Wolverton, Milton Keynes
Rates: 25,500 during training then 33,915 after training
Hours per week: 37hours per week +overtime
Duration: Permanent
Shifts: You will start on Dayshift Start time 06:00 - 2pm whilst on Training, but then you would have the choice of either Alternating day shifts or Nights with rate increases as below:
Alternating shifts 6am-2pm-2pm-10pm = + 12.5% pay increase
Nightshift 6pm - 2am = + 33% pay increase
Overtime Mon - Fri paid rate of + x1.25
Weekends paid rate of + x1.5

To be considered you will require experience of handling power tools, be reliable, and be keen to learn new skills.

Duties for which Training will be provided:
Cutting out large parts of rolling stock vehicles using grinders and Plasma cutters
Grinding large areas of metal
Lifting vehicles with power operated jacks
Taking measurements before and after repairs
Painting repaired areas with primer to prevent corrosion
