Finance Reconciliation Analyst

We're on the lookout for Business Reconciliation Analysts to join our consultancy client to support a large finance migration. In this critical role, you'll be the gatekeeper of data integrity-running reports, performing reconciliations, and ensuring our clients receive accurate, high-quality information every time.

• Independently generate and upload financial and operational reports from internal systems.
• Conduct thorough reviews of reports and reconciliation outputs to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Perform sense checks and spot checks to identify anomalies or inconsistencies.
• Escalate discrepancies clearly and promptly.
• Finalise and approve reports for client distribution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve reporting issues.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large data sets.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Desirable Extras:

• Familiarity with general ledger (GL) and sub-ledger structures.
• Basic accounting knowledge.
• Experience with financial systems such as Oracle and Apex.
