Automation Engineer | DV Cleared | Hybrid

Position: Automation Engineer
Location: Farnborough (3 days per week on-site)
Day Rate: GBP650 inside IR35
Security Clearance: DV Clearance

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Automation Engineer to support cutting-edge projects within the UK defence sector. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to mission-critical systems in a high-security environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement automation solutions for complex systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate and test automation frameworks
• Troubleshoot and optimise existing automation processes
• Ensure compliance with defence standards and security protocols

Essential Skills:

• Strong experience with automation tools (eg, Python, Ansible, Jenkins, Selenium)
• Background in systems engineering, DevOps, or test automation
• Familiarity with secure environments and defence-grade infrastructure
• Active DV clearance

Desirable:

• Experience in defence, aerospace, or government projects
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (IaC)
