Electrical Tester

We are currently seeking a qualified Electrical Tester for an upcoming commercial project . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical testing, inspection, and commissioning in commercial settings, and will be responsible for ensuring all electrical installations meet industry standards and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform testing and inspection of electrical systems on-site, including distribution boards, circuits, containment, and final fix.

• Carry out insulation resistance, continuity, RCD, and functional testing.

• Ensure all work complies with current electrical regulations and health and safety guidelines.

• Accurately complete test sheets and documentation.

• Identify faults and recommend corrective action.

• Collaborate with project managers, site supervisors, and electricians to ensure smooth workflow.

Requirements:

• Gold ECS card

• City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/2395 (or equivalent) in Inspection & Testing.

• 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations qualification.

• Proven experience as an electrical tester on commercial sites.

• Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.

• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
