Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team, specializing in social housing maintenance. The ideal candidate will have proven experience working with Natfed 7.2 , ensuring accurate cost estimation, contract management, and financial oversight of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cost Estimation & Budgeting: Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for fit-out projects.
• Contract Management: Negotiate, review, and manage contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Project Financial Oversight: Monitor project costs, ensuring financial efficiency and adherence to budgets.
• Natfed 7.2 Compliance: Apply expertise in Natfed 7.2 to ensure accurate pricing and cost control.
• Risk Assessment: Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with projects.
• Working with labour and material costs to financially support and increase cash flow .
• Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate records of project expenditures and financial reports.

Requirements:

• Experience: some experience in quantity surveying, preferably within the social housing sector.
• Natfed 7.2 Expertise: Strong understanding and practical experience with Natfed 7.2 pricing schedules .
• Qualifications: Degree or pre-grad/time served in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field .
• Skills: Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
• Driven, keen and ambitious; We are looking for somebody to grow with the company.
• Software Proficiency: Familiarity with cost estimation tools and project management software .

We would consider training and upskilling for the right person who doesn't match all of the above requirements but is keen to learn, ambitious and thinks outside the box.
