Job Description:

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Bendi FLT Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse operations and the ability to handle materials with care.

Hours:

• 40 hours a week
• 7am to 4pm
• Monday to Friday

Responsibilities

• Safely operate vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
• Load and unload materials, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including shipping and receiving documentation.
• Assist in warehouse operations, including managing inventory and organising storage areas.
• Utilise warehouse management systems for tracking shipments and inventory levels.
• Perform basic mechanical repairs on the vehicle as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow within the warehouse environment.

Requirements

• A valid Bendi FLT Licence.
• Strong mechanical knowledge for basic equipment repair and maintenance.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and handle materials safely.
• Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes, including documentation requirements.
• Experience operating forklifts is an advantage; certification may be required.
• Proficient in using warehouse management systems for tracking inventory and shipments.
• Basic maths skills for calculating weights, measurements, and quantities accurately.
• Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
